ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Competences for this role

  • Deep understanding of organic search and search engine marketing.
  • Manage team of SEO analysts to oversee the execution of SEO strategies of company clients to ensure they are in line with the expectation and business goal of customer.
  • Comfortable with tech and content.
  • Team management.
  • Interest in Publisher SEO and specializing in this subset for the long term.
  • Hands on using tools like Google Search Console, Google Analytics, Screaming Frog, Ahrefs, Semrush etc. to uncover insights for clients.
  • Ability to prioritize, multitasks, and works with minimal supervision in a collaborative and positive team environment.
  • A self-starter with the ability to grasp requirements quickly.
  • Someone with a strong inclination for team management and project execution on timelines.
  • Comfortable with project management and analytical tools.
  • Successful track record in project management and organic growth.
  • A collaborative team player who values the success of the whole team, in addition to their own.
  • Comfortable working in an asynchronous environment.

Responsibilities

  • Be the superstar responsible for managing the execution of SEO strategies end-to-end.
  • Develop SEO strategies for our clients, including detailed content plans, competitor analysis, keyword research, content pillar strategy and opportunity analysis.
  • A key POC for clients – from keeping in touch, taking meeting notes and identifying methods of retaining and upselling opportunities
  • Execute a variety of technical SEO tasks, such as ensuring website crawl ability and index ability, monitoring of ranking signals, on-page optimization, etc.
  • Generate monthly and quarterly SEO reports and communicate progress of SEO campaigns to our clients, present new strategies, and maintain relationships with them.
  • Work closely with our content and marketing teams to ensure our clients’ SEO, marketing, and business goals are met.
  • Provide SEO training and guidance to junior SEO team members to help them and understand SEO concepts, tools, strategies, and best practices.
  • Make sure all SEO strategies are in line with our clients’ KPIs and business goals.
  • Stay up to date with the latest SEO trends and practices.
  • Creation and maintenance of a library of SEO Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
  • Make intuitive and data-driven decisions to leverage tech and content in order to achieve client goals.
  • Perform and deliver under tight deadlines.
  • Learn and adapt to BrainMine’s process and methodologies and help improve them in the longer term.
  • Plan, implement and measure experiments and conversion tests.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure cohesive and integrated digital marketing campaigns.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest digital marketing trends, tools, and best practices.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS FOR THE POSITION:

Education & Relevant Experience

  1. Bachelor’s degree – BE/B.Tech/MCA/BCA/BSc IT and other related bachelor and master degree in Information Technology Certification.
  2. Professional Experience of 6-8 years of progressive experience in Digital Marketing, with at least 4 years in team lead role.
  3. Proven experience within demonstrating a deep Understanding of the domain’s dynamics and challenges.

Knowledge and Skills

  • Proven experience in digital marketing, preferably in a managerial role, with a track record of successful campaign execution.
  • In-depth knowledge of digital marketing channels, tools, and techniques.
  • Familiarity with web analytics platforms and digital marketing software.
  • Strong understanding of SEO principles and best practices.
  • Ability to identify the target audience and design digital campaigns that engage, inform, and motivate.
  • Knowledge of A/B and multivariate experiments. 
  • Hands-on experience in optimizing landing pages and user funnels.
  • Experience in managing digital marketing budgets and achieving ROI targets.
  • Experience in team management and leadership.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and draw actionable insights.
